How to Choose Your Mate
This material appears courtesy of OliveBranch

Seek God - spend more time with Him than you do with the opposite sex. Get involved in your local church. Think about, do for and pray for others - all the time. If your busy doing God's work, you won't have time for hormones to get in the way. Don't settle for the guy at the office who doesn't have a church home or any Spiritual goals.

DON'T think your going to find the perfect mate at the bar, or through those single's groups. If you join any single group, make sure it is sponsored by a church AND operates in Godly principals. Check out what you're being taught by the scriptures. USE that BIBLE - it's a valuable tool!

Look at a man as if your going to spend the rest of your life with him.
How much does he love the Lord?
Does he love the Lord more than you?
Do other men pray with him?
Does he waver in his walk?

Don't think if you get married that everything will be OK, that he is going to take care of you and solve all your problems. That is what your relationship with God is supposed to do.
