Mirror, Mirror: Why Am I Here?

I'm no expert and I don't have any magical formulas to fix messes in our lives. I do want to share with you some life-changing passages from the B.I.B.L.E. I learned in Sunday School a few years ago this best-selling book has the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth! Seems like the best source to start with if an individual is interested in changing his/her life.

Have you ever wondered "Why am I here?" Maybe you did not grow up in the best family or live in the best neighborhood. Your childhood memories maybe lost due to a tragic incident in your life. Are you like me ... just struggling along trying to pay bills, bills, and ah man, some more bills!

If you have been or are currently celebrating your 20,100th pity party -- turn on the lights sisters and brothers! The party is over!! Let me advise you to personally throw Lucifer and his crew out on their heads. If you don't, he will continue to linger around in the corner and encourage your habit of feeling depressed, stressed and just plain a mess over your life. The devil is mad with God, because he was kicked out of heaven. His way of getting back at God is through us. So stop letting him freeload off you!

Look how special we are! The above verse states "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart." Did you know God created you with a purpose? No, seriously have you ever really given it some thought. He knew how you would look, all about your personality, who would be your parents, who you would marry, and a whole lot more before you even existed! After being awe-struck by this verse, I read Genesis 1:27-28.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."

In the preceding verse, God speaks everything into existence, but when He comes to man notice, God and Jesus ... had a little conversation. "Let Us make man in Our image, in our likeness ... (2:26). Then "the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being (2:27).

Did you know each of us were physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually well-planned and created by God. I encourage you to read Psalm 138:13-18. I summarized the passage a little here. "For you created my inmost being, your eyes saw my unformed body". God saw something in us before we even existed ... "all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

You are here for a purpose! Some days it might not seem like it. That's why it is important to establish an individual relationship with God, restored to us ONLY through Jesus. Of course we are going to walk around being lost and messed up inside, if we don't spend time with the one who knows all about us. I mean ALL ABOUT US, INSIDE AND OUT!
