1 Timothy 6:20-21
Here, Paul encourages Timothy to avoid worldly and empty chatter. He urges him to stay strong in his faith. Empty chatter! Boy is this good advice for a teen. We sometimes have friends whose personalities are stronger and try to impose their opinions upon us. Do you find it easy to stand up to them? Is it easy to be one of few who walk to the beat of a different drum? Or is it easier to go along with the group? Paul encourages YOU to stay true to YOUR beliefs.

Titus 3:1-9
Here, Paul is trying to show us how we should esteem all people. Getting into silly arguments doesn't end in good relationships. We must learn how to balance our relationships with our beliefs and values.

Walk this week in the encouragement of Paul as from one of experience to YOU, someone who has great things to accomplish for YOUR LORD. Let His example be your standard.
